Contributors can provide a
Tuberculosis Package and send follow-up
re-supply packages for long-term assistance to a
North Korean tuberculosis treatment facility. This
support can transform a tuberculosis care center
into a place where patients have hope of recovery
or supply a local hospital¡¯s tuberculosis department
with what it needs for an aggressive outpatient
program. EugeneBell ensures that ¡®partner packages¡¯
are delivered to the donor¡¯s ¡®partner institution¡¯
and helps build a bridge between those who help with
those receiving the aid.
An initial Tuberculosis Care Center
Package consists of a Diagnostic Kit, a Medication
Kit, and an Agricultural Kit. The Diagnostic Kit
provides caregivers with the tools (X-ray machine,
microscope, etc.) needed to diagnose TB
accurately while the Medication Kit is sufficient
for treating 100 TB patients for eight months.
The Agricultural Kit helps provide better nutrition
for patients and staff. Also included are bicycles,
bed sheets, blankets, pajamas, and other supplies.
A Tuberculosis Hospital Package is similar except
that extra medications and diagnostic supplies replace
the Agricultural Kit.
A Re-supply Package is sent every six months
to re-supply the initial ¡®package¡¯ by restocking
medications and supplies, providing parts and
where needed, replacement equipment. Both hospitals
and care centers in the program receive a Re-supply
Package every six months.
