Although they lack much basic equipment, medication and supplies, North Korean local hospitals must provide emergency care for accident victims and provide emergency surgery services. EugeneBell’s ‘Operating Room Package’ is designed to equip hospitals with basic emergency and surgical equipment and supplies.

The initial Operating Room Package includes the equipment (operating table and light, autoclave, ventilator, electric operating instruments, anesthesia machine, suction pump, defibrillator, etc.) and supplies (IV stand, surgical instruments, treatment carriage, medication, operating gowns, medical supplies, etc.) for basic surgery.

Re-supply Packages are sent every six months to re-supply the initial ‘package’ by restocking medications and supplies and where needed, replacement equipment. Local hospitals in the program receive a Re-supply Package every six months.
