  • The Eugene Bell Foundation adopted international guidelines for the treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients.
  • EBF shipped four pre-assembled wards for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patient.
  • The Foundation received an award from the Council for National Reconciliation and Cooperation.

  • The Eugene Bell Foundation increased the number of MDR-TB patients sponsored in its treatment program.
  • The Foundation provided diagnostic equipment to the three provincial hospitals which received generators and electrical upgrades with funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
  • Four patient wards that were assembled by Habitat for Humanity Korea were shipped to one of the North Korean MDR-TB treatment centers supported by the Foundation.
  • The Foundation delivered diagnostic equipment and other medical supplies to a North Korean pediatric tuberculosis center.

  • The Eugene Bell Foundation launched the ‘One-to-One Patient Sponsor Program’ for matching patients diagnosed with multidrug-resistant TB with individual donors who fund their treatment.
  • The Foundation jointly sponsored a seminar on "Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis on the Korean Peninsula" with Harvard University.
  • The Foundation was selected by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide generators and related electrical upgrades for three North Korean provincial hospitals.

  • The Foundation expanded assistance to children with tuberculosis.
  • The Foundation provided tuberculosis-related support to tuberculosis patients living in the Najin Sonbong area.

  • The Eugene Bell Foundation expanded its "Emergency Care Diagnostic and Support Package" program.
  • The Foundation sponsored an international healthcare conference on multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
  • The Imjingak Peace Park decided to support the Foundation through a park exhibit.
  • The Foundation developed a new initiative, called ‘Mother and Child Healthcare Program.’

  • The DPRK Ministry of Health requested the Eugene Bell Foundation to provide general medical assistance as well as tuberculosis-related support.
  • The Foundation began a new program, "Emergency Care Diagnostic and Support Package," and began sending regular shipments to five local hospitals.
  • The Foundation received the '17th Asan Prize Medical Service Award.'

  • One-ton trucks were provided to all thirty-four medical facilities that receive regular tuberculosis-related support from the Eugene Bell Foundation.
  • With technical assistance from Pyongyang Medical University, the Foundation established a medical equipment repair program.

  • The Eugene Bell Foundation’s ‘Partner Package Program’ for regular tuberculosis assistance was expanded to include the TB departments of fifteen local hospitals.
  • Healthcare support was expanded to include health examinations, tuberculosis screening, and dental care for elementary school children.

  • The Eugene Bell Foundation provided regular support to forty-eight tuberculosis treatment centers and hospital departments through its 'Partner Package Program.'
  • The Foundation initiated a hepatitis-B prevention project by giving three injections to approximately one thousand children at five elementary schools in Kangwon Province.
  • The Foundation began a program to provide diagnostic equipment and other medical supplies to hospitals specializing in tuberculosis-related surgeries.

  • The Foundation provided operating room equipment and other medical supplies to the Pyongyang Red Cross Hospital.
